This tip has been out there for a while, but I just stumbled across it:
Mark Pilgrim posted a tip for Firefox users to link to the DocBook:TDG reference pages!
In Firefox, create a new bookmark forhttp://docbook.org/tdg/en/html/%s.html
, and then give it a keyword (I used the letter d). Then you can type things like d xref into your address bar to go to thexref
reference page. Go go gadget hyperlink.
Too cool. I used "db" for my keyword to match the namespace prefix Norm has been using for DocBook NG, but it works just the same. I type "db article" now, instead of having to navigating from my blog links. Thanks Mark!
